Photo: Jaguar Adopts Kid with Special Needs

Last week, the Cerebral Palsy Society of Kenya (CPSK) teamed up with IRA to conduct a charity walk to create awareness about cerebral palsy and raise funds.

Dubbed ‘Journey of Hope’, the 2014 Cerebral Palsy Charity Walk and Family Fun Day was held at the Nyayo National Stadium and attracted Kenyans from all walks of life. The event also saw Jaguar give an incredible and rousing performance, but that wasn’t it.

During his performance, Jaguar noticed a young guy, Mwangi Njema, in a wheelchair that cerebral palsy caused him impaired movement. The celebrated singer announced that he will adopt him and ensure that he goes back to school to clear his education after previously dropping out due to lack of fees.

Here are photos from that;

Speaking to the boy's mum, Tuesday, Jaguar kept his word by ensuring the boy starts his therapy sessions and so far both his hands have undergone reconstruction to repair tendon injuries and joint deformities.
