Photo: The 6 Most Generous Kenyan Celebrities

We compiled a list of Kenyan celebrities that have given back to the less fortunate, not only through money but have been pretty hands on when helping the less fortunate.

Philanthropic Celebrities.


1.Brenda Wairimu  
If she is not visiting children in slum areas, she is starting projects to provide them with sanitary towels. She recently gave women suffering from cancer a make-over as seen above.

2.Bahati   
The unbelievably grounded and humble young artiste decided to give back to the community using his ‘Form Ni Gani’ tour.  

Form Ni Gani tour was started to inspire children to believe that their dreams do count and that aside from academics our God given talents could just be our key to success.

3.DJ Joe  
When he is not Deejaying, DJ Joe is giving back to the less fortunate.
He spent Christmas at Kenyatta National hospital with sick children in an effort to make the children feel special and also brought goodies for the tots.

4.Emmy Kosgei  
Education is the key to success and Emmy gave a few children a chance to be successful by starting a school Hope Academy that is doing pretty well.

5.Jaguar  
If he is not getting prisoners out of jail, he is encouraging rowdy youths in Dandora to give up their arms and embrace peace.  He also helped Renson Ouma, a needy A student in Alliance High School clear his outstanding school fees.

6.Holy Dave   
Alongside his friends ; Kelele Takatifu, Ken the Dj, Christ Cycoz  & Recapp,Holy Dave started the The David Muthengi Foundation whose main focus is education. He also raised 300,000 shillings that benefited Thika School for the Blind and Dagoreti Special School.
